Role Description:

A true seat at the table: you’re the financial leader for the company, not one piece of a larger department
Full ownership of accounting, payroll, treasury, budgeting, tax, and reporting, end to end
Direct access to ownership and leadership, with real influence over financial strategy

Has run a full accounting cycle before — not just entered transactions, but owned the close, the reconciliations, and the reporting
Comfortable holding multiple hard deadlines every month (close by the 6th, statements out by the 10th) without letting things slip
Confident representing FloodGate externally — with banks, insurance brokers, CPAs, and vendors
High integrity and discretion, given regular exposure to payroll and sensitive financial data
A strategic thinker who can also do the detailed, day-to-day work personally — this isn’t a role where you delegate the close
Has handled multi-state payroll and tax compliance, or is a fast learner who can pick it up quickly
