Metropolitan Ministries Holiday Tent – Afternoon
The General Tent Volunteer Opportunity includes assisting in the donation lane, food sorting, food box building, distribution for families, hospitality, parking, environmental, client check-in, or other areas as needed. We ask that you remain flexible to the needs of the clients. Assignments are given after a brief Volunteer Orientation and are based on the needs of the clients.
Dress Code: Please be sure to wear CLOSED-TOE SHOES, and a shirt with sleeves (jeans and short sleeve t-shirts are great; no tank tops).
Check-In & Parking: Please report to the Volunteer Services area in the Holiday Tent. You can park in the Volunteer parking lot, look for parking attendants to direct you.
Personal Items: It is best to leave purses and electronics at home or out of sight in your trunk or another secure location while volunteering.
Minimum age: All volunteers must be 8 years old or older.
It is imperative that each person pre-registers for this opportunity with MM as they will release any unfilled slots for other groups to use, 2 weeks before our scheduled date. Link To Sign-Up on: http://floodgatemedical.
