Ronald McDonald House – Davis Island

We have the opportunity to serve Ronald McDonald House Tampa Bay, who keep families close to their children while they receive lifesaving treatment in local area hospitals. Their goal is “to not only house families, but to provide a home away from home with compassionate support and resources for families who are now in the best place they never wanted to be.”

Mission: Our time will be spent assembling two different care packages for RMH families. Meals-on-the-Go paper lunch bags filled with shelf-stable food items, and Hope Bundles custom tote bags filled with gifts, toiletry items, and educational pieces for families on bedrest in the NICU.

Purpose: These kit bags are used every day by families! A parent’s schedule is very busy with a child in the hospital; when they are on the go these bags are the thing they grab on the way to their child’s bedside.
