Introducing the FloodGate Foundation
The mission at FloodGate Medical is all about Improving Lives, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see how our work impacts not only the clients and candidates we serve but also our wider community. Through the FloodGate Foundation, we donate our time, talent, and treasure to the causes and communities we care about most.
Each month, we roll up our sleeves to serve alongside worthy nonprofit organizations in our community, as the most rewarding work we do. Through our FloodGate Foundation, we donate 1.5% of annual revenue to charitable organizations, reinforcing our belief that Every Person Matters and that true success is measured by the impact we make beyond our bottom line.
These aren't just programs to check boxes. They're what make FloodGate who we are.

Time, talent and treasure.
FloodGate Medical commits a minimum of 1.5% of our top-line revenue to the FloodGate Foundation every year, guided toward a decade goal of giving over $500,000 to community organizations.
Our team volunteers together at least once a month, including our remote team members serving in their own cities, and we welcome colleagues, friends, and family to join us.

Guided by the BaaM Committee
Our giving and serving is guided by the FloodGate Business as a Ministry (BaaM) Committee, a group of FloodGate team members who meet quarterly to inspire and coordinate our giving initiatives.
“To identify and serve the personal needs of the people we're in commerce and community with, and to recognize the person behind every interaction in ways that are meaningful for their good.”
The BaaM mission: “Beyond Business”
This is where our core values come to life. They shape how we show up for our community, one volunteer day and one gift at a time.

- Helping Hands Ministries & 2nd Responders
Hurricane Readiness
See our 2nd Responders in actionThe FloodGate Foundation commits $10,000 to a partnership with Helping Hands Ministries to pre-purchase tarps, chainsaws, generators, and other essential cleanup supplies well ahead of storm season.
These supplies are staged on FloodGate’s property and ready to support hurricane response efforts within a 200-mile radius of Tampa Bay, led by 2nd Responders, a nonprofit founded by FloodGate CEO Josh Heuchan. FloodGate is proud to be both a supplier to and a serving partner alongside 2nd Responders, whose work has supported our region through Hurricanes Ian, Helene, and Milton.
- BRAVE Coalition Foundation
BRAVE Coalition Mile-Matching Challenge
Every October, FloodGate team members track every mile they walk, run, swim, or bike, and the Foundation donates a dollar for every mile logged to BRAVE Coalition Foundation for breast cancer survivor advocacy.
- TREK program
The Honor Foundation
Every year FloodGate partners with The Honor Foundation’s TREK program, hosting Special Operations Forces fellows for immersive site visits as part of their transition to civilian careers.
Fellows hear directly from FloodGate team members who are themselves Honor Foundation alumni, and leave with practical career search tools and inspiration as they transition from military service to civilian careers.

The larger the group, the bigger the impact.
If you're local to the Tampa Bay area, we would love to have you join us on a volunteer outing. The larger the group, the bigger the impact we can make together.
If you feel called to give, you can make a monetary donation to benefit our local Tampa Bay community, or tell us about a cause you're passionate about and we'll consider it together.

Value doesn't have to be tied to an economic transaction.
Serving is winning.
Join us on the next outing, give to the Foundation, or tell us about a cause you care about.
