As Finance Lead, I oversee FloodGate's financial operations: accounting, payroll, financial reporting, budgeting and financial processes. My role is to ensure financial accuracy, support thoughtful decision-making and help build a strong financial foundation that lets our team and organization thrive.
I believe data tells a story, and numbers are only meaningful when we understand the context behind them. For me, finance is about looking beyond the numbers to understand what they reveal, make informed decisions and support people.

Stephany brings more than 15 years of experience in finance, operations and human resources, primarily within nonprofit and mission-driven organizations. Along the way she's led teams, managed financial operations, developed processes and supported organizational growth, experience that shaped her belief that strong relationships and sound financial stewardship go hand in hand.
She's proudest of her willingness to take on new challenges: stepping into unfamiliar roles, learning new systems and taking on responsibilities outside her comfort zone. She joined FloodGate in August 2026.

Where relationships matter
What I enjoy most is the people. I'm naturally relationship-oriented and genuinely enjoy collaborating, learning from others and contributing to a shared purpose. Being part of FloodGate is especially meaningful because of its commitment to integrity, service, innovation and valuing people. I hope my coworkers would describe me as approachable, dependable and collaborative.
Away from work
Outside of work, Stephany enjoys staying active, exploring new places and being involved in her church community, and loves spending time with family and friends.
