ENT and Audiology recruiting and talent strategy.

ENT spans three business models at once: office-based procedures billed by a physician owner, hospital capital for image guidance and operating room equipment, and a retail hearing channel that runs through audiology practices and consumer buyers. The products range from implants and neurostimulation to navigation and hearing technology, so engineering, clinical, regulatory and commercial teams each have to know which model they serve.

What we search

Inside ent and audiology.

A search usually sits in one of these areas, and often spans two or three.

01

Hearing loss

Hearing aids, bone conduction devices and cochlear implants, dispensed through audiology practices, retail channels and implant centers that each work differently. Implantable products demand acoustic and electrical engineering, candidacy work and long-term programming support, while the dispensing side is a consumer business where the audiologist is both clinician and small business owner.

  • Acoustic Engineer
  • Clinical Specialist
  • Audiology Clinical Trainer
  • Key Account Manager
02

Sinus disease

Balloon sinus dilation, image guided sinus surgery and drug eluting implants, performed in both the hospital and the physician office. Office procedures shift the conversation to practice economics, while navigation and drug eluting products bring software, combination product and regulatory work into the company.

  • Navigation Software Engineer
  • Regulatory Affairs Manager
  • Clinical Specialist
  • Territory Manager
03

Otology

Ear surgery and middle ear disease, covering tympanostomy tubes, ossicular implants, otologic drills and microscopes. Volumes are steady and much of the work is pediatric, so precision engineering, quality and credible support for a small surgeon population all matter.

  • Mechanical Engineer
  • Quality Engineer
  • Clinical Specialist
  • Capital Sales Specialist
04

Head and neck surgery

Oncologic resection, thyroid and parathyroid procedures and reconstruction, done in hospitals and academic centers. Products include nerve monitoring, energy devices and navigation, and cases are long and multidisciplinary, so clinical specialists, R&D teams and medical affairs all work close to the surgeon.

  • R&D Engineer
  • Clinical Specialist
  • Medical Science Liaison
  • Surgical Sales Representative
05

Airway and sleep ENT

Obstructive sleep apnea and nasal airway obstruction treated surgically or with implanted neurostimulation, alongside pediatric tonsil and adenoid work. Neurostimulation needs clinical trials, implant engineering, patient identification and payer approval before a case happens, which makes clinical, engineering and market access roles as important as surgical selling.

  • Field Clinical Engineer
  • Clinical Research Manager
  • Market Access Manager
  • Therapy Development Manager
06

Voice and swallowing

Laryngology and dysphagia, including vocal fold injectables and implants, laryngeal imaging and swallowing assessment equipment. The customer base is narrow and includes speech language pathologists as well as surgeons, so product development, imaging engineering and clinical education lead the work.

  • Imaging Engineer
  • Clinical Education Specialist
  • Product Manager
  • Territory Manager
What makes it hard

Where ent and audiology searches go wrong.

The assumptions that cost the most time, and what tends to be true instead.

“One ENT rep can cover the whole account”

An ENT practice may buy office disposables, hospital capital and hearing products, and those are three different sales. The office sale is practice economics with a physician owner, the capital sale runs through hospital committees, and hearing runs through audiology. Asking one territory manager to carry all three usually means two of them get no attention.

“Hearing technology is a consumer electronics hire”

Hearing devices look like consumer electronics, but implants and many hearing products are regulated medical devices with clinical evidence, fitting software and post-market obligations behind them. Engineers and product leaders from consumer audio often underestimate that. Look for people who have shipped regulated acoustic or implantable products.

“Hire from ENT or the leader won't be credible”

Site of service matters more than specialty history. A leader who has built an office based procedure business in another specialty already knows the practice economics, reimbursement and training model, and that transfers to sinus or airway work quickly. Someone with only hospital ENT experience often struggles with exactly that shift.

Roles we fill

How a search runs

Four steps, every time.

The same sequence whether the seat is an engineer, a clinical lead or a territory in ent and audiology, or the executive who builds the team around them.

  1. 01Define

A Talent Director who knows your specialty scopes the role, what it has to deliver and the profile that actually wins in your market.

  2. 02Search & vet

We reach passive candidates others can't, then screen for skill, culture fit and motivation before you see a single resume.

  3. 03Present

Three to five qualified, interested candidates with our written assessment. Interviews are coordinated for you.

  4. 04Close & onboard
